Entrepreneurial Talks
The Entrepreneurial Talks are a central part of the Prince Daniel Fellowship’s efforts to strengthen entrepreneurship across the country. Here, young entrepreneurs, students, and UF company founders meet inspirational role models and business leaders in a shared forum. Through conversation, an environment is created where questions, experiences and ideas can take place.
Prince Daniel’s Fellowship is founded on the belief that entrepreneurship is a key driver of societal development across Sweden. Strengthening the conditions for entrepreneurs—regardless of where in the country they operate—and highlighting role models are central to its mission. The Entrepreneurial Talks therefore form an important part of the Fellowship’s activities and bring together approximately 150–200 young participants at each event.
The format is designed to create encounters that would not otherwise take place. By seating participants at round tables, they are given the opportunity to sit alongside experienced entrepreneurs and leaders, enabling direct dialogue and the exchange of knowledge across generations and levels of experience.
The programme begins with a stage conversation in which Prince Daniel and the Fellowship’s inspirational speakers share experiences from their entrepreneurial journeys, including both successes and challenges. This is followed by contributions from local entrepreneurs, who offer their perspectives and act as role models by highlighting concrete opportunities within the region. The event concludes with continued discussions at the tables, where participants explore their own ideas, challenges, and next steps. The aim is for every participant to leave with new insights and valuable contacts.
The Entrepreneurial Talks are held in four regions each year, with the ambition of gradually reaching all parts of Sweden. Each event is developed in close collaboration with local stakeholders to ensure regional relevance and long-term impact, while remaining part of a broader national context.

From School Visits to Entrepreneurial Talks
Prince Daniel’s Fellowship has visited more than 100 upper‑secondary schools and universities across Sweden to inspire students to take steps toward starting their own business. Since its launch in 2013, the Fellowship has met over 16,000 young people through school visits and conversations about entrepreneurship together with Prince Daniel and our network. Over time, the need and desire to continue these conversations has become increasingly clear. That is why, since 2025, the initial school visits has evolved into entrepreneurial talks — an interactive format that brings together young people and experienced entrepreneurs in conversations that not only inspire, but also provide tools and networks.
