Prince Daniel's Fellowship delegation of entrepreneurs and business leaders visited Singapore to gain insight into the local business climate, with a focus on start-ups and innovation.
Singapore is consistently ranked as one of the world's most innovative countries, and more than 250 Swedish companies are established here. To learn more about Singapor's innovation system and it's ecosystem for startups, Prince Daniel's Fellowships delegation visited several companies and organisations.
First up was a visit to the Port of Singapore, one of the world's busiest ports, and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), one of the world's leading universities. There, vice-chancellor professor Subra Suresh, introduced us to NTU's innovation and entrepreneurship programme.
In the afternoon the delegation met with Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Singapore's Senior Minister and Coordinating minister for Social Policies, for a discussion on innovation and entrepreneurship in Singapore, moderated by Marcus Wallenberg, Chairman of Prince Daniel's Fellowship.
